Dispense with strikers altogether, and put Rooney, Gerrard and Lampard as attacking midfielders alongside J Cole, Carrick and Beckham in a scintillating 4-6-0 formation. Think of all the penetrating runs from deep! More exciting to watch too, as we'll have twice as many rasping drives from outside the box.
