We all want Rooney to be fit but it is very unlikely and even Owen is now struggling, or so it would seem. Fowler is currently in a rich run of form and England needs a natural scorer who just gets in the right place. Defoe is abosulte quality but not a natural striker (as we saw at the weekend) and Bent is still finding his way.
