I hope ToyTalk has a feature on Subbuteo! I remember flicking the little men around for hours on end trying to recreate great Coventry City moments. The fun only came to a halt when I knelt on Steve Ogrizovic or Gary Mabbutt rolled too far under the couch.
I wonder if Subbuteo is played differently by people depending on where they are in the world. Do the Italians score early and then pat the ball around at the back? When Africans play the game are they naive?

I was also a fan of table football, apart from when I was told to stop ’spinning’. I remember the game being just like real football.

Spinning is seriously frowned upon in cvilised table football society. It’s table football’s equivalent of making booking gestures to try and get someone a yellow card.
This table football clip is pretty cool.
